Sometimes, you just want to give your look that little something extra. It really doesn’t have to be much, in fact it is all in the details! That’s why today I’m sharing three tips & tricks on how to cuff, roll and tuck like a pro.

1. The “J Crew cuff”
Rolling up the sleeves of your shirt not only is more functional, it also adds that touch of sophistication. This particular cuff is called the “J Crew”, after the brand, and is a great alternative to regular sleeve rolling.

First unbutton your sleeve, then fold up the sleeve and then roll up the bottom, while leaving the cuff free so it sticks out a bit. Personally, I like it best when it doesn’t look too polished, it can even be a little messy.

2. The half-rolled hem
Rolling up your jeans is a nice way to crop them and make them look effortlessly chic. I do it all the time, especially when I’m wearing my jeans with sock boots.
It works exactly like the “J Crew cuff”, so you fold up the hems of your jeans and then roll up the bottom, leaving a bit of the hem sticking out. Again, don’t try too hard to make it look perfect, it’s actually nicer when it’s not.
3. The tuck without bumps
How annoying is it when you want to wear an oversized sweater tucked into a pair of tight trousers (or a skirt) and the result looks super bulky and messy because of the bumps? Exactly, super annoying.
In order to still wear this combo (which is an all-time favourite of mine) I came up with this trick, that I use all the time.
Let me know if you are going to try any of these out!
