Last time I showed you some pictures of when I was in Montserrat, this time I wanted to give you a little impression of my visit to the actual city. Barcelona is simply gorgeous, there’s so much to see. Because it was only April, the temperatures were just right, which made strolling through the city a lot easier. If you’re planning on visiting Barcelona, I would definitely recommend going there during spring instead of summer, when it gets really hot and chances are that the only thing you’ll going to see is the beach. Which is awesome (city + beach = perfect combo), but Barcelona has got so much more to offer. For example, you should absolutely visit El Born, where most of the above pictures were taken. It’s one of the most authentic places in the city and you’ll find lots of hidden gems like small tapas bars and concept stores.

Have you ever been to Barcelona? What’s your favorite European city?

  1. I love Barcelona, it’s been such a long time since I last went! It’s actually one of my favourite cities in Europe, like you said the beach + city combo is basically unbeatable x http://www.justsavxnnah.com
