Monday Inspiration

Weekends seriously seem to vanish lately. Before you know it, it’s Monday again and that means  -apart from those lucky bastards who are enjoying their holidays- back to work. To give you a little boost, here’s a fresh inspo post. I’ve been experimenting with the layout a bit, hope you like the result! Wish you a great week, don’t forget to be awesome! 😉

Therefore I decided to gift this biker vest (which I wore during the first round of the battle) to one of my readers! It has a leather look, many zippers and the ability to make every outfit awesome! It’s brand new with tags, size S/M.

The giveaway is open worldwide. I will announce the winner on my Facebook page next week. Fingers crossed!

Sale Shopping

It’s kinda crazy isn’t it, summer has literally just begun and sale is already popping up everywhere. On the other hand… it’s always nice to find cool bargains! As per usual, I created a list with stuff I would really love to get my hands on and I think you might like these as well:

1. Sandals : CHEAP MONDAY / 2. Sunglasses: ZALANDO / 3. Denim dungarees: MANGO / 4. Rings: ASOS / 5. Tee: ESPRIT / 6. Bikini: NELLY / 7. Biker jacket: MANGO.

Speaking of sale, I am having a personal closet clear out, too! New items against bargain prices. Check it out HERE.

Feeling Lucky

A couple of days ago, a former fellow student contacted me if I would be interested in working together. She openend her own webshop with (gorgeous!) handmade jewelry. I got to pick out a fine piece to create an outfit with. I went straight for this lucky charm bracelet. I love the deep blue color and the simplicity. Plus, we can all use a little extra luck sometimes, right? 😉
About the outfit: I wore one of my fave pencil skirts, mixed with a striped tee and nude heels. The weather was quite nice, but a bit unpredictable so a jacket wasn’t an unnecessary luxury. Hope you like it!

How to wear the sporty shorts

The latest (and final!) challenge I took on for the blogger battle was styling a pair of sporty shorts. As you might have noticed before, I like playing around with contrasts in outfits. Since these shorts have a sporty look, I thought it would be nice to mix it up with a chic, slightly transparant healthcarewell pharmacy eriacta blouse and a big, fluffy knit. To top it off, I added my clear heels and a black bag. If you like this look, it would be awesome if you would vote for me. Just click my name below the article. Thanks a lot!

Monday Inspiration

Another Monday, another inspiration post! When I looked out my window this morning, the sky was a mix of fluffy white clouds and parts of clear blue. That gave me instant inspiration for this post. I love how fresh summer skies look, especially in the morning.
I’m feeling a bit better already, so I’m hoping blogging will be back to normal this week. Apart from that, I’ll probably still be taking things easy. Do you have any exciting plans?

Some of my latest outfits

Excusez-moi for not posting over the last two days, I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather and I really needed to take some rest and detox from staring at screens all day. I am feeling a bit better now, but I promised myself to spend the weekend as relaxed as possible. That means I could’t shoot any new outfits, so I figured I’d do a little recap from previous looks. Tell me, what’s your favorite?

Fringe Galore

This sweater is about as fringed as they come. I wore it during a night out with the bf. I can tell you that it is NOT a good idea to take your fringed friend to the movies, you’ll find popcorn hiding in it everywhere afterwards. I could have known really, but I just really wanted to wear it anyway. I mixed it with my ripped jeans to make it a bit more casual and my clear heels for a fresh touch.

Hot or Not: (All) White

Although summer is often linked to colors, white is going strong in fashion this season. All white outfits are popping up everywhere. No wonder: it looks fresh, clean and it accentuates your tan. On the other hand, its fresh and clean appearance will only last as long as it isn’t smudged. We all know it’s bound to go wrong at some point… Especially when eating ice-cream. Which will melt. And drip all over your white ensemble. Speaking from experience.
So, the big question is: Hot or Not? Let me know!

What I’d wear to a festival

If you think of festival outfits, it’s most likely the words “bohemian”, “fringes”, “shorts” etc come to mind immediately. Although I do like outfits with a boho touch, I think most festival looks are kinda over the top and that’s just not really my cup of tea. So when I heard that for the second blogger battle we had to create a festival look, I knew it had to be something different than that. I went for a simple, easy look with my printed palmprint trousers and a a plain top with dropped armholes. I wore a black lace bra underneath for some contrast and added a layered necklace. If you like it, you can vote for my look again, just click on my name below the article and I will be super happy 🙂
