Blue shirt with a twist

I always try to have a couple of pretty pieces in my wardrobe which are just a bit different than plain basics. Like this shirt for example. It’s a shirt, with a little twist. Pieces like this are probably the pillars of my wardrobe. They last long, I don’t get tired of them very quickly and they go with almost every other item in my closet. In these pictures I am wearing the shirt tucked in to a pair of leather look shorts, paired with my nude heels. Easy peasy, just the way I like it!

Interview mbrace + win a pair of Nike iD’s!

Have you already heard of mbrace? It’s a really nice app, which allows you to meet and connect with new people who share the same interests in your own neighborhood. Next to that, it helps you getting to know all about cool parties and hotspots around the block. Sounds fun, right? If you’re not using it already, you can now sign up using the code “NIGHT” in order to win a pair of Nike iD sneakers. Awesome, non?
I’ve been asked by mbrace if I would do an interview about hotspots in my city. Sure thing! You can read the full article here.

Palm Trees & Sunnies

Right before the weather started getting grey and gloomy again, I grabbed my chance and decided to wear my “summer feeling x1000 pants”. The best alternative for an actual summer holiday in my entire wardrobe. I matched them with heels (they’re super long!), crop top and a biker jacket to add a little spice. The glasses I’m wearing here are probably new favorites, the clear frames makes them so easy to wear with basically anything. I’m all set for more sunny days!

Same sweater, different outfit

Wearing that sweater again. Can’t really help myself, I wear it all the time. It’s so roomy and comfortable. I guess my boyfriend is happy with it too, ’cause it keeps me from stealing his sweaters (for now!). In this outfit I’ve mixed girly with a touch of bad ass, a combo which works well for me. I always like to add a little egde, just to make a look a bit more interesting. Hope you like it!

Summer Ready

Ah, the perks of online shopping! It is so easy to stroll scroll around your favorite webshops and just click everything you like home. To prevent myself from going all crazy, I made a little wish list beforehand and promised myself to stick to it. I managed! Well, apart healthcarewell pharmacy ambien from the pair of sunnies I got from Asos. They came with a big discount, so that was really kind of a now or never thing 😉 Happy weekend!

Uniform Dressing

This is basically my uniform when I have to work behind a desk all day: comfy sweater, boyfriend jeans and some heels which are easy to kick off under the table when no one is looking. The pictures were taken a few days ago, before I cut off my hair! I was in doubt for a while if I should go for a blunt chop again, as I did two years ago. On Tuesday morning I finally collected enough courage and made an appointment with my hairdresser. I’m very happy with it, you’ll see the result soon. I already placed a tiny peekaboo pic on my Instagram!

Dear blog readers, first of all: thanks for reading my blog! It means the world, without you it would be a lot less fun. I really want to make it as nice as I can, but I cannot do it completely by myself. Therefore, I would like to invite you to have a little brainstorm session with me. What would you like to see more of on my blog? Any suggestions, tips or just something to say? It would be really awesome if you could help me out with this! You can simply share your ideas in the comment section below. Thanks!

Orange + Stripes + Nude

Orange is definitely en vogue this season, yet I wasn’t really convinced. I simply didn’t know if I could walk down the street wearing something in this color without feeling like some lost patriot or overly excited world cup soccer fanatic. But that was before I met this boxy orange jumper. It might look a bit light in these pictures (I used a filter) , but in reality it really is bright orange. And I love it. The color is vibrant and has a sunny vibe to it, which instantly puts me in a good mood whenever I wear it. I mixed it with a good ol’ stripe and nude heels, and a pair of tortoise shades to make the look completely summer proof.
What about you, would you wear orange?
