The faux fur – no doubt a perfect piece for keeping warm. Next to that, it gives an instant touch of chic to your look. I got my hands on this black coat, and I wear it with basically anything. Perfect for tonight! Enjoy NYE guys!
Today’s inspiration post is dedicated to the last party of the year: NYE! Do you already know what you’ll be wearing? I have to admit : I haven’t even thought about it yet.. Think I am going to scan my wardrobe this afternoon, in search of the perfect outfit!
P.S. And the winner is…. Anita H.! You will receive an email shortly. Congrats! To those who did not win, there will be another cool giveaway on the blog soon.
These are probably the best items I got myself this year. The coat is warm, fuzzy and oversized: just the way I like it. The striped tee is very simple in execution, yet not so simple to find. I’ve been looking for a perfect one for quite some time, and last summer I finally managed to find it. I have a thing for stripes really, I think they’re always a good staple. The bag, the boots and the cap belong to my best buys as well, I’ve been wearing them quite a lot. Which are your best buys of 2013?
P.S. The winner of the giveaway will be announced tomorrow!
A typical after-Christmas outfit: casual and easy. Dug up my boyfriend jeans, which I haven’t been wearing since summer. I thought it might be too cold by now, with the all the holes in it. Nothing’s further from the truth though: with the current temperatures in The Netherlands, you don’t have to worry about freezing at all. I have to admit: it’s nice to be able to wear whatever you like, but a bit of snow during Christmas would have been fun too…
My blog isn’t about baking at all, but for this recipe I am happy to make an exception.
How cute are these?! Simple, sweet and very easy to make. Just cut off the leafy part, so that they can stand. Then cut off the tips, and fill the ‘body’ with a layer of cream (or whatever you like). Then put on the tips again, as they will be the hats. Now you just need to give them eyes (for example by using chocolate sprinkles) and add a little more cream for decoration. Santa does love a pompom on top of his hat and buttons make a great jacket, too.
This ‘coatigan’ is seriously taking its place in my wardrobe. It is really warm and easy to throw over any outfit. Plus, now that I am completely in the holiday spirit, I like wearing snuggly pieces. Nothing better than wrapping yourself in something blanket-like. Let’s cozy up!
P.S: Last day to enter my giveaway!
For some reason, I never was a fan of black bags. I usually opted for a natural color. Still, black is a very practical shade to have in your wardrobe and so I went looking for a black bag I did like. I found this boxy piece: plain, simple and made of the softest leather. Score!
I will show you the full outfit soon.
P.S. Don’t forget to enter my giveaway in order to win a cute little leather bag yourself!
With Christmas around the corner, it’s the perfect time to do a little giveaway! I am giving you the chance to win this cute little bag by Pieces. It has a gorgeous color and it’s made out of the softest leather. Ideal for going out, when you don’t want to drag along too much. Brand new with tags!
We all know Friday is the start of something good, called the weekend :). I am planning on taking some outfit pictures, working on my blog and some last-minute Christmas shopping, as I didn’t really have time to do so earlier. To get in the Christmas spirit even more, there will be a giveaway on my blog soon, so stay tuned!
